Reza Rastegar, PhD, PE

Dr. Reza Rastegar, Principal Engineer, has more than 10 years of experience in the field of power system transmission and distribution. His experience includes work and research in power quality studies, power system studies and optimization, grounding system, pipeline mitigation grounding and electrical interference studies, and Arc Flash Analysis.

Prior to joining Quanta Technology, Dr. Rastegar worked for several companies such as Powertch Labs Inc., Burns & McDonnell, SNCLavalin T&D, and Teshmont Consultants in North America.

Dr. Rastegar earned his doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University in July 1998. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia (APEGBC) and Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGGA). He is also the author of several journal and conference proceedings articles.
