Majida Malki, PE, PMP

Majida Malki, P.E., PMP, Advisor, Quanta Technology Expert, has more than 14 years of utility and consulting experience. She has extensive experience in designing protection and control schemes in digital and electromechanical technologies for transmission and distribution systems, performing power quality engineering analysis and distributed generation impact studies. Majida also has expertise in Transmission and Distribution loss assessment studies and improvements. She has experience in developing technical specifications, bidding, performing technical and commercial evaluations for different types of systems and equipment in transmission and distribution systems.

Prior to joining Quanta in 2007, Majida was Consultant Engineer with Synergetic Design Inc, where she was responsible for performing Distribution feeder analysis, sectionalization and protective devices coordination, power quality engineering analysis, and distributed generation impact studies. She was in charge of the Power Quality Department in ONE (Office National D'Electricite in Casablanca, Morocco) where she was dealing with power quality issues for industrial clients. Prior to this position, she was responsible for the Protection and Automation Department with the same utility.

Majida received her Degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics (five year program) from Mohamadia School of Engineering in Rabat, Morocco.
Majida is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Majida is member of IEEE and IEEE Women in Engineering. She is also active member of Project Management Institute (PMI).
