Hahn Tram, VP Enterprise and Executive Advisor, Quanta Technology Expert, has more than 30 years of experience in helping energy utilities architect, plan, implement, and achieve business benefits from integrated technology solutions. He is responsible for developing enterprise-level engineering, automation and information technology solutions for energy utilities, including Smart Meter, Demand Response/Energy Management, Smart Grid, and Work and Asset Management.

Hahn supports the rapid and responsible growth of Quanta and the Smart Meter/Smarter Grid strategies of several utilities, including for example: San Diego G&E, Southern California Gas, Pacific G&E, Baltimore G&E, and City of Tallahassee Utilities. He is also a core member of the project team developing architecture and technical specifications of a secured IT network and infrastructure for the DOE North American Synchro-Phasor Initiative.

At Quanta, Hahn extends and improves upon his already successful track record of helping utility clients succeed in their strategic initiatives as well as improving daily operations through progressive careers with Westinghouse, ABB, Convergent Group, SchlumbergerSema, and most recently, Enspiria Solutions. His hands-on planning and implementation experience with utilities includes Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Demand Response and customer demand/energy management, Smart Grid applications, advanced SCADA/Distribution Management and Outage Management Systems, work and asset management, Geospatial Information System, Field Force Automation, multimedia customer communications, solar and wind power simulation and economics, load forecasting, substation and distribution system planning, distribution system optimization by feeder reconfiguration and capacitor placement, etc..

Hahn is an Advisory Committee member of DistribuTECH, senior member of IEEE, member of Utilimetrics and GITA. He has published or presented about 100 papers in utility industry journals and conferences. Hahn is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
