Gerry Adamski

Gerard Adamski Executive Advisor, Transmission. During the course of his career, Gerry has held a wide range of technical and management responsibilities including transmission operations, reliability standards development, reliability auditing, electrical equipment maintenance and testing, energy management systems, operator training, storm response, and transmission system planning. Prior to joining Quanta Technology, Gerry served as various capacities at NERC, including Vice-President and Director of Standards, Director of Reliability Readiness, and Director of Situation Awareness and Training. At NERC, Gerry was responsible for coordinating development of over 70 new or revised reliability standards and conducting reliability readiness audits for over 150 bulk power operators, directly leading 15 audit teams. At MET Electrical Testing, Gerry was responsible for leading a 60-person organization providing electrical testing and engineering services on power distribution systems, generating in excess of $9M in annual revenue. At BGE, Gerry supported Bulk Power Operations for over 13 years, including five years supervising the control center or its operations engineering group.
