Xiaohuan Tan, Ph.D.

Dr. Tan has more than 10 years of experience in power economics research and power system design/analysis. She has been focused on mathematical modeling, analysis and simulation-based evaluations for dynamic multi-agent systems. She is experienced with optimization, statistical methods and mathematical game theoretical research and relevant applications.
Dr. Tan had published several technical papers in the areas of interest. She received her B.E. from Southeast University (Nanjing, China), M.E. from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and PhD from The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH), all in Electrical Engineering. She has worked at The Ohio State University and Quanta Technology.
