Majida Malki

Ms. Malki is an expert in Protection Systems, Power Quality, Power Systems Modeling and Analysis. She has over thirteen years of utility and consulting experience working directly with power utilities and consulting companies worldwide. Prior to joining Quanta Technology, she was a Consulting Engineer for Synergetic Design Inc, where she was responsible for performing Distribution feeder analysis, sectionalization and protective devices coordination, power quality engineering analysis and distributed generation impact  studies.
She was in charge of the Power Quality Department in ONE (Office National D’Electricite in Casablanca, Morocco) where she was advising industrial clients on power quality issues. Prior to this position, she was in charge of the Protection and Automation Department at ONE. She has extensive experience in designing protection and control schemes in digital and electromechanical technologies for transmission and distribution systems, performing power quality engineering analysis and distributed generation impact studies. She also has experience in developing technical specifications,performing technical and commercial evaluations for different types of systems and equipment in transmission and distribution networks.

Majida is certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and a member of PMI (Project Management Institute). She is also member of IEEE and IEEE Women in Engineering.
She received her Degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics (five year program) from Mohamadia School of Engineering in Rabat, Morocco.
