Edmund Phillips, MSEE, PMP, PE

Mr. Phillips is a seasoned Power System Engineer with a broad background in: Project Management, T&D load forecasting, strategic infrastructure capital and life-cycle planning, Advanced Power System Assessment and options comparison and risk assessment for major project planning. His expertise also spans areas such as Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission systems operation, Power System Stability,

Technology Benchmarking, Distribution System Reliability Assessment, Pole loading forensic assessments, and engineering methods and their application.  

Prior to joining Quanta Technology in 2006, Edmund had worked at the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSco) as well as Dayton Power and Light Company (DPL) in various roles including Plant operator, T&D system planning and operation. He also held the position of Project Manager at SEPAC construction Co., where he managed the Engineering/Procurement/Construction of Automatic Voltage Regulators (Generator Excitation Systems) for Power Companies both in North and South America.  Mr. Phillips received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University, where he was elected Electrical Engineering Graduate of the year. Mr. Phillips is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a certified NERC reliability coordinator.
